Hey, I'm Ryan.
Senior Technical Program Manager in defense and aerospace. I work at the intersection of program management and systems engineering, taking hardware through safety-critical, regulated environments.
About
My career has run from automotive transmissions to EV batteries to eVTOL energy storage, and now defense and aerospace. The throughline is the same: requirements maturation, supplier coordination, gate-review discipline, and translating between engineering and program management.
I sit comfortably in both vocabularies and switch depending on the audience. Most program risk, in my experience, is people and communication, not technical. I build systems and processes for that, not just for the hardware.
Outside of work I'm a father of three. I ride a motorcycle to clear my head, print things in 3D, build personal AI tools, and I'm learning Vietnamese.
